Local charity Buglife invites you to join them for their open day on Saturday 31 May at their offices in Ferry Meadows Country Park. A fun family day out is promised for all with bug walks, kids activities, storytelling from Sonia Copeland-Bloom (mother of Orlando), a series of talks and the chance to handle large invertebrates.
The day also presents an opportunity for people to view the bespoke bug friendly gardens being created at the Buglife office.
Paul Hetherington, Director of Fundraising and Communications commented: “ Open day has something for everyone whether you are a bug expert or a complete novice. There is a series of informative and fun talks, bug walks around Ferry Meadows and a host of activities for kids to get involved with. Activities take place both indoors and outdoors so whatever the weather there will be something fun to do. Places are limited so I would urge those interested to reserve their places now.”
