This session is being run as part of the ‘West Lothian B-Lines’ project, which is working across the region to create wildflower habitat for pollinators, whilst also engaging and educating local communities.
During the workshop you will be introduced to our work in West Lothian and will learn about the different groups of pollinating insects (bees, flies, butterflies, moths, wasps and beetles), including how to identify them at a basic level. We will also go through how to survey for pollinators in your garden or local area and introduce participants to a very simple, fun pollinator survey called a FIT Count.
**This workshop is aimed at people living in West Lothian but is open to all**
The session will be run on Microsoft Teams – you can either download the Teams app or simply join via the web. Either way, all you need to do is click on the event link which will be emailed to you once you have registered to join the meeting on the day!
