The Bannockburn BioBlitz is a community event celebrating local biodiversity. Participants can join various workshops including river dipping with Buglife, butterfly/moth observation with Butterfly Conservation Scotland, mindfulness activities in nature with Tranceform, and a tree workshop with Treelink Stirling. It’s an opportunity for all ages to explore and learn about our local environment.
Over the day we also aim to catalogue the diverse flora and fauna found in the Bannockburn area. Over the course of 24 hours, teams of volunteers and experts will work together to identify as many species as possible. This event helps raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity and conservation efforts in our local community.

Everyone is welcome and it’s free to join!
