The Land Trust is running a free 2-day course at Canvey Wick on Canvey Island, Essex through their Green Angels environmental training programme.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and discover the rich and varied insects on this important nature reserve, managed in partnership between the RSPB and Buglife on behalf of the Land Trust. No experience is necessary and participants must be aged 18 or over.
Topics covered will include:
- Key identification skills for bees, dragonflies and damselflies.
- Theory and practical sessions, including guided walk around the Canvey Wick nature reserve.
- The importance of the site for endangered invertebrates.
Please note that this course will run on Thursday 20 and Thursday 27 June.
