Join us for a wonderful day clearing lodgepole pine scrub from Easter Drumclair moss as part of our peatland restoration works.
We will be carrying out a work party to remove small Lodgepole Pine that is damaging one of the rare lowland raised bogs on the Slamannan Plateau. This will involve sawing, carrying and loppering trees.
- Please be aware that the surface of the bog is extremely uneven underfoot.
- Wellies, Lunch and waterproofs are required.
You will be able to take away your own tree, however there’s a little bit of a walk in.
Tools will be provided, however you will need to bring your own methods to wrap up and carry your tree.
On street parking is available, however the end of the road must remain clear for traffic.
