Join Bandstand Beds Association in their garden for a fun and informative morning with Scarlett Weston from Buglife‘s Get London Buzzing, for an introduction to identifying pollinators and learning about some of the minibeasts in the garden, and elsewhere on the Common.
During the morning there’ll be lots of fun activities from bug hunts to building bee hotels, crafting clay butterflies to surveying pollinators.
This is a free event for adults and children (aged 5+).

Want to know more about Buglife? They are the invertebrate conservation charity delivery a new project called Get London Buzzing! This project is creating opportunities for people who live and work in London to help pollinating insects in their local area. Working with local communities and landowners, the project will plant 5 hectares of wildflowers along London’s B-Lines.
