Join Biggar Community Market Garden (BCMG) for a fun, free, family event. BCMG wants to kickstart its biodiversity monitoring by involving our local community in a survey of the plants and beasties onsite the surrounding public park.

Where: Turn off Broughton Road before Greenhills Care Home and towards the golf course. The event will be beyond the sheepgrazing land on the left, before you reach the pond. Parking is limited, so please consider walking. What3Words: //tribune.tissue.doctors

Also in attendance is Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub and Gear Up, a Healthy Valleys Social Enterprise empowering communities through cycling, walking, and wheeling.

A moth specialist who will be on hand to show us how to use our newly acquired moth trap and to share knowledge on attracting moths to your outdoor spaces.

Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided by BCMG’s multi-talented volunteers and there will be a range of crafting/drawing activities for kids.
