All are welcome at our annual Summer Event: Adventures in Nature! This year is bee themed to celebrate the work done by Buglife’s Get The Marches Buzzing project in Little Dawley Local Nature Reserve.

- Pond dipping at Furnace Pools*
* Booking for Bug Hunting and Pond Dipping is essential as spaces are limited. Email [email protected]. Please confirm numbers in your party. 2 children max per adult.*
Here are a few details:
- Parking is free in a car park off South View Rd, Little Dawley. Please follow the signs to the event.
- If you are walking, the main event is at the picnic benches just down from the park on Southall Rd (by Castle Pool). It will be signposted from Southall corner.
- Don’t forget to bring along refreshments, or even a picnic, to enjoy the Local Nature Reserve.
- Toilet facilities are not available
- The walk around the pools and main footpaths are accessible for prams and strollers.
- The event will be cancelled in adverse weather conditions; please follow this page for any updates.
