Last Thursday afternoon Plymouths Buzzing visited Ford Primary School in Plymouth to work with their Gardening club to make the school grounds pollinator friendly. The school site itself does not have much in the way of green space, so working with the children, we planted up window boxes to mount on the wall of the school, seat planters which we planted with lavender and a small grass lawn area was planted with wild flower plug plants to create a flowering lawn.
