Despite the heavy showers yesterday, years three and four at Compton C of E Primary School in Plymouth constructed fourteen Bug houses which we put up around their school playing field. Even the rain wasn't stopping bugs from feeding on the late flowering ivy growing along the perimeter fence. Children built the bug houses from pieces of drainage downpipe, plastic bottles they had bought from home, canes and twigs.
